Bailey Lightner Design My brand identity is the crying jester girl, a symbol of artistic exploration beyond societal norms. The jester represents thinking outside the box and challenging the boundaries of creativity. She wears a birthday hat—nodding to rebirth and transformation. The tears she cries are not of weakness but of release. Good art is born from the depths of emotion. Tears are catharsis, a visual manifestation of healing through creation. Throughout this website, you will see the theme of the jester girl carried through. I had a branding photoshoot done to match the visual aesthetic I had already created.

Beso Drips Lip Gloss Grit meets glam. One of my earliest graphic design projects and still one of my favorites, this branding fully embraces the energy of my inner teenage girl. The design pairs Old English typography with neon greens and hot pinks, creating a striking contrast that feels rebellious. The Local Stray Designed for a local artist whose branding reflects her DIY spirit and punk edge. The graffiti-style text captures the brand’s gritty aesthetic, giving it an unfiltered attitude. We chose orange and pink as the primary colors which are impossible to ignore. The contrast between the rough text, and the bright colors is perfect for her visual identity as a business.
